On another note, being new here I’m not 100% sure if this is legit or if the builder should post, but could be useful for people like me who just scroll this sub looking for stuff they want to build.

Need to clean up my wires, I did it up originally with a Mutable Instruments Ripples front panel I had and left wires long for when I changed things. Just made a layout and had someone cut it out of acrylic for me, shown in the last picture.

Here is a stripboard layout for the AI006 Stomp Box Adapter. The board is only $10 so I recommend buying one straight from Abe if you can, but I found the super-skinny Eurorack board was difficult to mount on my Kosmo panels, and I also wanted to add a bypass switch, which I’ve done here. Be advised that my version is missing the reverse power protection resistors as well as some power filter caps I thought I could get away without.
This layout reflects the way I like my modules - knobs up top, jack sockets down below. The board should be thin enough to hide behind the panel. Hope this helps somebody. This feels a little pirate-ey, so I encourage you to support AI Synthesis wherever possible!
The AI006 is a trivially modified version of a Ken Stone design so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Slow build as usual but here’s another version panning mixer based on mfos super simple schematic . 4 inputs , repeat the layout for each input. Most resistors are panel mounted this time …don’t know if that saves time…check out the detail.
Only had 10k pots in my box , I used them for panning ,for now its ok

Yes sub mixing and panning in the rack is a useful asset and makes the most use of a small desk mixer👌
StripboardCAD for the ipad . I think its still available . Basic tools , but has been of great use to me .
Some hopefully constructive feedback, I’m having a hard time understanding how the pots are supposed to be connected here and what each is supposed to do.
Some stripboard software lets you add depictions of pots with hookup wires and function labels, e.g. here Verified Stripboard Layouts! - #139 by EddyBergman . Otherwise you can show the hookup wires and function labels and terminal numbers without the images of the pots themselves, like this Verified Stripboard Layouts! - #114 by ChristianBloch . I find these a lot clearer.
100 k input level . Then 50k pan of course . Resistors to each lug as pictured. To save me the work of repeating each input I gift the diyer the task of a little headscratching

Yes, it is absolutely useful.
It will help me to have more control in sending a good stereo image to my recorder.
I found the app, it’s still available on the apple store, but I can’t use it on the latest ios. It’s a shame, I had been excited about the possibility of working with a mobile app.

Theres always layout creator for the pc not sure about mac. Anyway defo a handy tool if you are thinking of going schematic to stripboard.
I have two devices. The newest one has the latest version of ios.
The oldest has an older version than required by the app and cannot be updated.
I use DIYLC for desktop, but I would like to have an app to use on ios, just for mobility.
I’ll try to get a device with compatible ios for the app, it shouldn’t be difficult.

Interesting, although I believe it violates the letter of the MIDI spec. Does it still work if the input jack’s shield and pin 2 are not connected to “ground”? Grounding them is something you officially are not supposed to do. But maybe that, and the lack of an optoisolator, do not matter functionally if all you’re connecting to is MIDI outputs.
I have had absolutely zero problems sending midi note info to five hardware synths , that I can assure you. Yes there is apparently some violation tut tut , but this is from a phil rees design who still has Knowledable archived articles on midi and a portfolio of 90s2000s midi devices .
Havent tried grounding options as you suggested …well it works as is.
As you can see i have the original v4 and this layout replicates the flawless functionality
Therefor I still recommend this build
Don’t misunderstand me, I’m sure it works and likely no problem functionally… just curious if the grounding is needed… not that it really matters!

Attack/ release/ sustain looping envelope generator
I have now 5 of these …so verified
Sustain ,auto repeat trigger ( lfo possibilities) and inverse - all spdt switches.
Normal / inverse Output is centre pin from switch to master level …
Have A think about it … the eagle eyed will notice no filter caps on power as usual …sam says its ok though…for the most part.
Im guessing I sourced this layout from mfos schematic .
Oh important !.. use a cmos 555 …the standard ones are not suitable and introduce noise …
Also my bad for not puttin 12v and ground closer together ( for power connecting) so kludge if you need to
Oh and that is a spdt switch for normal/ inverse ( obviously) and centre pin to master level out pot ( obviously😁)
