I expect flashily dressed lady is Vetinari, the Patrician. They did change some genders, I heard.
The trailer is on YouTube. It’s not bad, but this obviously isn’t the same fictional universe as portrayed in the novels.

Not bad at all! More 'Marco? Bro, that asshole (lit. crooked dick) is (lit. he/they) gonna die soon, ya know?
I got up to date with The Expanse the other day. I’m so glad I gave it the time. More recently I’m following Loki on DisneyPlus. Episode 5 today was huge fun.
I haven’t really given their other MCU-derived shows much notice. WandaVision seemed to start in a forgettable way and I didn’t bother to follow it. Falcon and The Winter Soldier kicks off with a visually stunning wingsuit extravaganza, but this isn’t my kind of television. Only Loki features the kind of actor I’d watch in just about anything. The unremitting seventies-drab of the TVA offices did stretch my patience, but it has paid off well in establishing the characters.
Carnival Row! My daughter is so happy that I recommended this one to her. Another Jared Harris appearance, He certainly gets around.
Future Man is surprisingly good, an affectionate pastiche of eighties SF films, three seasons with a very satisfying finale.
I watched the first two episodes of The Watch. The casting is excellent, and the writing has a charm of its own while not being Pratchetty.
I’ve seen a few TV adaptations of Discworld novels and in my experience the attempt to recreate the atmosphere of the books is never very successful. This way of telling a story is one I feel more comfortable with.
Whovians should watch out for the appearance of Ingrid “Osgood” Oliver as the head of the Assassins’ Guild.
I know it is a new movie release but I watched it on TV [ HBO max ] .
well I was thoroughly impressed with the new Dune movie . will probably see it in the theater just for the visuals . and Hans Zimmer 's sound track was awesome to .
WandaVision turned out to be pretty good. My respect for Kat Dennings (Darcy Lewis) grows. Also recently she landed the part of Neil Gaiman’s cute gothic teen Death in the audio production of The Sandman. The teenager with the Ankh in Washington Square Park who first appears in The Sound of Her Wings. Teenage ankhst? All through the night!
Freelance photographer Benjamin Ellis attended the London premiere of Thor 2 in 2013, and his spectacular view of Ms Dennings’ physical attributes currently adorns her Wikipedia article. Not that I’m the type of person to perve over cleavage or anything…
