Heh, Radio Shack sold these off-brand mixers in the 90s, they were super, super cheap with a really good build quality. Now they’re “retro”.
Ah, gotcha! Cheers.
In the 80’s we had Frontline in the UK who made very solid and stupidly cheap line mixers. (I still have a couple in use today)
Back then everyone was churning out kit for the “mobile Disco” scene (c’mon, agadoo!) and you didn’t have to be a engineer to bring a decent bit of kit to market.
Even Woolworths had branded kit ( a long gone UK shop where LP records, watering cans, stationary and even underwear lived in jarring harmony on the shelves)
So NWAK
I hope you noticed I deliberately avoided the whole “retro” area. I’m too old not to slap people who use the term outside rocketry.
This is destined to show up in an episode of Bad Gear in the not too distant future…
Since i got access to dall-e 2, i thought i would generate if MC Escher has a modular synthesizer.
Its basically just a smaller version of @Dud 's setup is.

Fun linguistic fact: In German, the theramin can be described in less than 2 minutes
In French, it takes about twice as long
And in English, it takes nearly 17 minutes.
(All three in my YouTube feed tonight…)
I think that might be the most posted image on this forum. I wonder why…
