Super simple oscillator - barely audible

Topic 352 about this project. I know. I’m a newbie, and yes, I only discovered now that so many people start off with this project, and are having troubles.

I’m using the SS9018 transistor, so I can work with a 9 volt battery.

I double checked the sheme, and should be correct. Should I use other resistors then the mentioned 1k & 100k?

The frequency is sub audible. Double check the capacitor value. If it really is 10 µF try a 1 µF.
