Sculpt-O-Sound presents: Mult-O-Matic

Today I finished a passive multiple inspired by Kristian Bläsol’s video’s about multiples. As you can see from the schematic the design is very simple. The ‘clever’ bit is that the switch in J4, J7 and J10 can be used to shorten the chain.

So if you connect a signal to J1 you can tap it from J2, J3, J5, J6, J8, J9, J11 and J12. However if insert a jack in one of the other jack inputs J4, J7 or J10, you cut the chain short at J5, J8 or J11 respectively.

I use a specific 3.5 mm jack which you can get at aliexpress and other sources. I designed the pcb and the panel and asked the people at jlcpcb.com to do their magic.

So the end result looks like this:

For those with 20/20 vision, the via’s in the front panel are there for artistic flair.

The gerber files are at the Mult-O-Matic repository.
