So I finally decided to put all my designs on JLC. But received unpleasant surprise. It turns out that you don’t get 2$ deal if your board is panellised or has any v-cuts.
Well I fell for some youtube videos that said that you CAN do panellised for 2USD.
So then I wonder, it is still cheaper to make two orders of 50x100 for 2$, than to make a panel design in the same order for 6-7$.
Finally I can post a tiny step forward. I started today with @EddyBergman’s layout of the Steiner Parker filter and I am really looking forward to the finished module. It’s the first time I have to split the circuit board, I’m curious how I get that fixed to the Eurorack panel.
You can ask Doolang how he did it. He successfully made one like that too. Good luck with the build! You’re going to love this filter. It’s one of the best out there.
Finished up a Baby 8 sequencer taking most of the design from Kristian Blåsol’s videos as well as -minus-'s design as a base. I wanted to build a basic version, with just switches for the gate, took a while to understand Kristian’s designs and be able to separate the switch parts. Not sure it’s the most efficient layout and there are a few mistakes but it seems to be working phew.

Stripboard layout, the crossed out resistors are because i took out a bunch of parts including the TL072 when i realised i didn’t need them.
