A double sub oscillator, a potentiometer and the sockets still have to be wired and the panel is still made of cardboard, was only to test whether everything fits. Made from plexi glass today.
And a tuner with an Arduino Nano that Sam had posted somewhere. 2 sockets, LEDs and the 7 segment display will still be soldered today.

It was a bit of a fiddle to get everything connected, but I got it working in the end:
The displays are stand alone voltmeters, and they are supposed to work from [edit] 4.5 -30 Volts. Measuring the 5 Volt supply however didn’t work properly as the display showed some erratic behaviour.
By default they have 2 wires so they get their power from the source you are measuring the voltage of. After some research I found that that on the small pcb they have some wire bridges you can break and then add a third wire. By this you separate the power supply from the input to the measuring circuitry. If you then power it at 12 V via the ‘power’-wire it is possible to measure voltages lower than 5 V using the actual input wire. Nice !

now I see what you were saying just use the voltage meter circuit . still would be nice to have all those functions , maybe replace the led’s with the numerical display ?
You can get cheap digital panel meters off ebay/aliexpress/banggood/etc (ideally get the ones with three wires), but a numeric display is kind of missing the point of the MFOS voltmeter, which shows you both level and range:

This picture shows the wire bridges on the pcb of the standalone voltmeter.
The input and power supply are now connected (bottom left).
If you cut them apart, and connect a wire to the left pad, you can use that to measure low votages and use the other for powering the device.
I use them to check the power supply voltages, not to visualize modulation of signals. The arduino oscilloscope I wrote about is better suited for that purpose.
