My build progress

Thats great @Dud. Sounds a lot like one of my favorite synth artists Waveshaper.

This is my first prototype of a 5 HP euro rack oscilloscope. Just grabed the front panel from the printer and put the controls, display and jack in. From top to bottom it shows the oled display, 4 toggle knobs + led to control the oscilloscope, one attenuator, 1 trigger led, one 3.5 mm input jack. Looks a bit like a design by Braun in the 1990’s doesn’t it?

You can see an early version of it in here on a bread board.

Finished up LMNC’s Atari Punk Console++ with some diy vactrols for CV and a NOT transistor for the gate. It sounds a bit weird, broken but still fun. Not sure if I built it right or not

It was from a builders live stream, two 556s connectors together, I also added another LFO with a 555 from another source

So here is my very first panel that I have ever built. And I think, apart from the 2 scratches on the top left, it turned out quite well.

Effect of acrylic over the picture works well.

just be careful screwing it into the case, use non counter sunk screws

Looking good. How did you add the text and scales to the panel surface? Is the panel made of some see through material with paper underneath?

Thx😃. Des, absolutely correct. In german it called plexi glas. The Layout i made with Frontplatten Designer by Schaeffer, a very cool Freeware Program, you can design your Panel and order it directly from the company, but its not cheap, a panel like this is about 50€

The plexi glas + cutting it cost 50 Euro’s?

Oh, sorry no, my fault. If you order the panel directly from the company its aluminium and it cost round about 50€. The program calculates the price for you. I bought my piece of Plexiglas for 2,50€ in 25x50cm

https://www.schaeffer-ag.de/en/ in case someone wants to splurge. If you buy fancy eurorack modules they may have made the panels.
