Another Dual VCA
count me in Trumac , looks fab!
Super Nice !! If possible i would like to get one too !!
Did I mention I’m interested in one too? Can you cover the cost of a large enough order to handle all the requests?
Looks awesome! Cool organic design! I think the power connector or the labels are reversed though!
Good catch, looks like the labeling is correct but the header is reversed. And if the header is reversed, the electrolytics might interfere with the cable.
Ahaha oh boy. It is backwards.
at my pace well all have working bass drums next year. I’ll be over in the litany thread if you need me
I’ve been building some fuzz pedals today. Top one is a fuzz war v1 and bottom one is a zvex mastotron. Now waiting for some pots and transistors
Also i finally made sams multiple
Bonus points for adding WA state to your graphics. Looking forward to building this.
Only counts if you’ve already ordered the PCBs.
V3 of my sequncer brain is on it’s way… and spotted an issue with the I2C mux… V4 is ready to print!
Oh hell yes I need that!!!
I’ll be up to 3 versions on that clock divider, I don’t even wanna look at that thing right now. Messing up V1 of the bass drum sounds more fun
hey no pressure man , but you got that done yet LOL . no worries take your time get it working and we will be here , I think we have plenty of projects to keep us busy while we wait .
I just noticed that you flipped the pots so they are sideways? So the levels on these will be top to bottom instead of left to right. Did you mean to do this or was there a limitation somewhere that prevented you from getting the proper spacing with them facing forward?
I’m not sure if I follow your question. It doesn’t matter which direction you place them? Just depends how you attach the knob—as long as the pins are connected correctly. You can make the min and max wherever you want
As long as it’s not a D shaft, of course.
Does anybody use D-shaft alphas? Didn’t think about that
Not particularly chic, but everything built by myself. Except of course the green box. May I introduce “The Green”. It contains 1x 3340 alfa4 VCO (based on Sam’s layout with a few changes), 1x 40106 with two VCOs and an LFO, 2x I AM O VCA (modular in a weeks layout), 1x MS-20 VCF (René Schmitz) , 1x PT2399 Delay (Sam) and 1x Mixer (Sam) and 1x Sub Oscillator (actually intended for the Behringer Crave, but also works great in the modular)
The next step is to design sensible panels, but I have always successfully avoided it
