My build progress

That is clean waveform you got there.

Yes, suprisingly. This was one of the easiest builds so far. The tracking is also very good and very easy to calibrate.

Today is a very productive day :
The second of @moritzklein modules is finished: the dual VCA.
And this works perfectly as the VCO. The schematic is 100% Moritz’ work, the PCB and front panel design is my work.

Thank you Moritz for you good videos and the very easy to build modules.

Can’t wait to get the remade panels. Module works though.

Once again: Panel sucks, module works

is that the " remade " panels ? dam

Nope, those are still in progress. This is the wrong and ugly but not unusable one. It’ll get swapped out later.

Some people would call this panel a collectible, who knows :man_shrugging:

Just sell 10 of them, put 5 in the safe and let them sleep for 10 years… they will be balanced out in gold  :money_mouth_face:

So heres a thing, ive had a big break from doing synth stuff and since getting into KiCad ive been on one (well for me atleast)
Made OtemRelliks TeensyDrumv2 and got that working (despite quirks)
Fixed my Beaks from Kristian Blasol (just needed new mcu’s)

and now ive kit bashed an idea together, i wanted a selectable tuner using LMNC 1222 Tuner and LMNC Mixer
and got this mostly sorted (but not error checked) its a 3in1out mixer with a switch to select a VCO to check its tune.

Ready for the pun??

i present…

Mixed Tuner.

No faceplate yet as i want to get my hands on some funky switches and try them out.
SS13D07, which look like 3 inputs to select and 1 output which will go to the tuner.
Im looking forward to this one =)

Thoughts?

Oh that looks MUCH better

I have setup a raspberry pi to allow me to perform quick session recording without using the PC. I had to reduce the sampling rate to prevent pops and crackling but then it works just great.

The next 2 modules of the @moritzklein mki x es.edu series are ready: the output module and the wavefolder. Both were easy to build and work directly without problems. Now its very easy to connect the headphones directly to the synth without any mixer inbetween.

Thank you @moritzklein for this good series of modules!

Both front panels:

you have been busy looks good .

I built basically one module last October and before that you’d have to go back to May, so on average it’s not that much…

I guess with the drum modules and this it seems like more , and you do have a pretty good list going .

Finally got round to building @analogoutput 's adaptation of the YuSynth fixed filter bank. Apart from a minor mishap when putting the fader caps on everything went together smoothly. I think I’ll try 3d printing some suitable caps when I have the chance.
Cheers @Dave for the boards.

Next up I think will be some of the boards I got from @BlackDeath then that will be this case full.

Hi! I am kinda new in this whole synth thing and I finished building this diode ladder VCF by Moritz Klein but I cant get it to work. The problem is probably in the amplification part, but I cant figure it out.

Here is the post where i described problem in detail:

If you know what is the issue, please reply.
