Nicely done with the knobs!
A cover of Smoke on the Water or Child in Time is begging for huge organ swells through a big purple panel. Fabulous!
Or “Purple haze”
Very nice !!! (only still 14 …)
child in time , have to listen to that one now …
aaaaaaahhhh the most subtle detail on that faceplate. i love it so much.
Not building so much as coding, but I think it sounds neat and has potential.
This is a kind of drum simulation I built in octave based on some modal resonators excited by a short burst of filtered noise:
Cheers
it is an analogoutput design . he has graciously shared his stuff on github .
I am forever envious of his attention to detail and persistence when it comes to documentation.
My blank panels are bit too shiny, but atleast this looks less empty now. And black spray paint has been invented.
I’m glad i am not the only one simulating progress with dummies
I also use them to close the back.
I cut mine from wood and eventualy convert them to strip board modules
like the text-module I invented listing the waves of the LFO to take up some space
I knew it was an @analogoutput by the design and the Uber professional documentation. Brilliant.
As said before; Bravo Mr Holmes!
That sounds incredibly good!
Originally posted here, finally got around to assembly: PCB Golf - Most useful core module in 100mm x 150mm - #48 by BlackDeath
Tested and works! Kinda noisy and I used the wrong pot value for one of the knobs, but definitely does something fun to the sound.
I had a lead bending tool but it only went down to 0.4". So I printed one that goes to 0.3":
I had to like this because the color on the thing popped out the first time I took a look at my Eurorack module.
