when I used mine (under review at the moment), I liked to go through a quantizer
Hm, seems to me the whole point of a ribbon controller is to not be quantized, but you do you…
Quantize and side chain to glide or a mix…?
It’s late. It’s all I got. I thought your quantizer had a bypass or did I imagine that? Equally possible on the meds that keep me. Enjoy
yes of course it depends on what you want, everything is possible. I don’t really see the possible use without notes in tune, if someone has a musical example.
yes there is a bypass on the quantizer, and if we add a big glide we will also be able to do long climbs up to a precise note and in tune with your track.
Faceplate for 8 step seq’ (with AO mods) all fixed and painted up after my 9step blunder =) haha!
Just letting clear coat dry n cure before adding components.
Finished up my ROOLZ tonight - a friend made the case for me as part of a collab we did with my boards

Got an MCP23017 IO expander hooked up to the STM32 - the plan is to have four encoders, two buttons and two LEDs to go with the four screens on a single IO board:
Hopefully I can build two IO boards and have eight screen/encoder pairs. Planning to do this on stripboard for that real DIY feel.
It’s the new Komso format.
How many octaves?!
I reckon that might cover bats, dogs and elephants as well as humans. It’s a very inclusive design.
It goes to eleven.
(The top octave is centered on the top note of the piano keyboard; at the low end it’s in LFO territory. It’s inspired by the Befaco Even VCO, though that has only ten positions. I have one and I have used it in its extreme positions sometimes. Organ pipes also apparently cover a similar range, at least in German nomenclature.)
I love this so much.
hope you have some extras , need one for my analog output case .
I just built one of your precision ADSR’s. Very nice. The other would be done if I hadn’t goofed on ordering 2 of the timer chips. Just ordered a few parts for the gear sequencer, joystick and waveshaper, and did some work on them the last couple days.
