A dual attack/decay attack/release added onto “the” panel. It is an alternative version of @moritzklein simple adsr. Time for a filter now.

Built @Dave’s 25mm 4-colour noise module tonight. Got quite crowded, but it’s a nice little module. Thanks Dave!

Not a thread yet, I am going to redo the boards, I was trying to squeeze too much into 25mm. I shall make a thread when I have updated.

Hey @saint_et_moudulard
Great tip.
At Tayda, it costs 3 cents per piece and shipping is U$20.84.
On Aliexpress it costs 7 cents, but shipping is free.
Apparently it’s the same product.
The delivery time is usually the same between both suppliers.
Thank you so much!

Yikes. In the (northeastern) US, USPS shipping for 200 of those from Tayda is $0.99. That’s the slowest shipping and it might take two weeks or more but AE shipping almost always takes at least that long and usually far longer in my experience.

But Tayda does require a $5 minimum order, and who needs 200 LED bezels?

he probably has used more …

I was going to say Sam, but he doesn’t use bezels.

(I don’t either.)

When i ran out of bezels, i just used hot glue and painted it. A habit i carry over from my crafting hobby. Hot glue pretty much fixes everything.

no problem, I find and buy all my components on Ali market.
I anticipate and I always order a month in advance according to my stocks

LED → Hole in wooden panel → hot glue

I experimented with 3d printing a bezel however they require fine details that my printer just isn’t calibrated for.

Shipping for $0.99 ? Tayda may have a distribution center in the US.

I’ve been building temporary panels for my modules, I don’t want to use glue as I intend to reuse the LEDs in the final panels. However hot glue is a good solution instead of bezels.

I just placed my order via AliExpress. I believe it will arrive in 2 or 3 weeks as usual.
Thanks!

For temporary led fitting I use blu-tack, the stuff you hang a poster up with, I think it’s got other names.
I have a few old pedal projects that still have their temporary blu-tack and newspaper packing.
