VOLUME WARNING!
just a little id im working on with arturia pigments
Wow, that’s really good. Do you plan to continue working on it? 1:16 was too short haha
It lives! Nice to hear it running.
So I got myself a Korg Volca NuBass. The thing is an Acid beast. Anyway I decided to put it through the Safety Valve and then the Filter Grrr. The first clip is just the NuBass and the two filters. The second is the whole nasty track. Just me mucking about.
its 11pm time for another id to post lmao
PLEASE TURN UR VOLUME DOWN
this is a xtra raw / hardstyle collab with my friend his part is the first drop and mine is the 2nd
also reason it’s so empty is because we’re going to get a vocalist to do some corny hardstyle lyrics
Hi everyone.
Here’s a full live session of my musical project, that was recorded in July this year.
With my DIY modular of course.
The video has been released just few hours ago.
Yo folks, just released my debut LP ‘the pandemic files: assorted material 2020-2021’ beginning of this month, marking the first release under the SVMF.inc netlabel me and a few friends started earlier this year. It’s mostly instrumental and technological, so I thought some of the people round here might appreciate my headfirst plunge into IDM and the art of instrumental storytelling
Here’s the MV to the lead single, a very personal track that means quite much to me. You’ll find full streams over on sc and bc, I’m quite curious what the LMNC community thinks of it
Nice tracks, and very nice recordings!
Yes cool perf’
Very impressive!
I’d be interested to know a little bit more about your setup. Maybe not all the details and secret sauce, but a rough overview - like how you’re sequencing various bits and pieces to keep it all together for that live performance - I think I spotted an MPC but I’m not so sure…
Hey, thanks for all your feedbacks !
I’d be interested to know a little bit more about your setup. Maybe not all the details and secret sauce, but a rough overview - like how you’re sequencing various bits and pieces to keep it all together for that live performance - I think I spotted an MPC but I’m not so sure…
As a short answer …
The central device is indeed the MPC. It plays the all the drums part (separate outputs are very convenient here to send kick, snares, percs and hats in different tracks) & sends the clock to my MIDI looper and some synths & guitars pedal in order to stay sync (like the boss SL20 which is a nice audio slicer).
All my synths are connected to the MIDI looper so I can loop some notes with it, but they also received some MIDI notes from the MPC.
And the the MIDI looper also send a clock CV signal to the modular. I use my arpeggiator module a lot, mostly in random mode in order to creates clouds of notes.
What’s good about the MPC (especially this one the 2500 running the latest JJOS) is you can plug a switch pedal in order to change the sequence on the go. It’s still very long to program and you only have 128Mo for audio sample, but, I like it this way : trying to make more with less.
Here’s my setup that’s growing and evolving. Trying to keep it as much DIY synth as possible, but instead of designing and making everything I’ve been getting into kits.
Keystep goes to the laptop which is running Reaper for all the sequencing and track effect duties. Laptop has two MIDI out jacks which are plugged into a midithru-x2. MC-101, Shruthi, MicroDexed and Zekit all connected via MIDI from there. The Keystep is acting as a MIDI to CV converter for my DIY synth. All the audio goes to the mixer which is also the audio interface for the laptop.
Here’s something I knocked together this afternoon:
Cheers
Happy spooky day!
i threw this together in 20mins lmao
My girlfriend did some month-long inktober challenge in Instagram to draw a picture of AI-generated topic every day, so I had my own project to make a 20-30 second ambience/soundscape of each drawing. Here’s all of them in one video.
metal lemurien !
I just knocked this filthy Acid track out. Enjoy.
