Interesting, have to read that tomorrow. Another idea I had during disassembly - they have to be projects for 3d-pints this days for original Dymos.

Seems like a matter of price you pay for devise. I was curious and to be honest, with all coupons I paid1$ for device and 2 rolls of tape. Are they popular in France? As I said, I never saw one myself. .

me it’s something I got from my grandfather, at the time he worked for the Americans who were based in France

I have a “Dymo Junior” here, and it has 0 and 1. No −, though. Guess kids don’t need that, but I see there’s a larger model with 49 characters, so might have to upgrade.

I went for one of the vintage all chrome Dymo-Mite Tapewriters off Ebay, looks cool, but 1/4 tape options are lacking.

Some old typewriters did the same.

That Dymo label look is so revered that Pittsburgh Modular (and probably numerous other manufacturers) uses it as a font on their panels. My “Organizer Express” has it all, and it was the entry level at the hardware store. Numbers one and zero on the left (or top here) and letters i, o and dash On the right (bottom).

It’s amazing what trivia I’ll get up to in order to participate in LMNCDG! (My waste-hating Caledonian blood is telling me I can probably even still use these labels on something.)

And if you go deeper probably old printing presses have same material and space optimization idea’s : )

In addition to that point (which has already been addressed) there are letters A, O and U with diaresis (like the German unlaut) and also Å and Æ. These appear to be in the Norwegian or Danish alphabet. The 0 and 1 have probably been omitted because the larger alphabet eats up so much space. The CIDY brand seems to be Chinese, but the instructional copy is in much better English than is normal for Chinese companies. Perhaps this item is designed specifically for Scandinavia.

Was an Intro Edition of it that would come with things like the Launchpad and such.

Suite has always been above $700, with the “Standard” being around 400 or so.

They sell Intros for 50 to 99 depending on the sales

So Suite @ 385. I couldnt pass it up. haha

I forgot about second mail. Nice 1$ circuit that records up to 10s and due the circuit bending, we have much interesting results that simple loop:

Question is - if I want to use with rack, do I need to normalize somehow input (to connect mono jack instead of microphone) and output (also mono jack here)?
And if you have any other mods/bend for this chip that will be helpful : )

I advise you not to do it with the info in this article, after trying most of the mod did not work (maybe depending on the model? i don’t know …)

to avoid spoiling this post I opened another one for this topic
