I absolutely love the Rings module and it took about 30 mins to build. I got it from this seller on Reverb:
No specific AliExpress shop. I just order from wherever is the cheapest. It takes forever to arrive, but for things I know I will need, it’s a good way of stocking up.
Behold me, a moron: After ordering some Eurojacks Breadboard Friends earlier this month I discovered they didn’t have a footprint that would work with jacks I have. So I changed the footprints and ordered new boards from PCBWay.
But did I check whether the header spacing was correct for my breadboard?
SPOILER ALERT: No.
Well, I have another breadboard arriving tomorrow and I think there’s a decent chance they’ll fit that. If not I guess I get to come up with yet another revision of the design.
Also a small Tayda order. (Too small, as usual.) I placed this order so many eons ago (a week at least) I’m not sure what I was thinking at the time. I know some of these parts are for a design I later decided not to use. The piezos, or one of them anyway, might be better for the Mikrophonie build than the one I have.
A used Ladik A-520 4 x line preamp just arrived. Makes interfacing with line level gear a little easier and the Ladik modules are very affordable even new.
I’ve been looking for another Frequency Central Microbus PCB here in the US, but everyone seems to be sold out. If anyone knows of one somewhere please let me know
So all the talk about on-on and on-off-(on) etc a bit back made me drop by ebay to stock up on some switches. Package needed just over 2 weeks to make it to Europe with free shipping, so that bit is still working.
aluminum kick plates salvaged off a door ages ago. yay instant module panels ! . and maybe that will be some inspiration to clean up the 2 car garage packed full of salvage shit just maybe …
