ah thats better. STILL!
Eye protection then!
Got some basic components for the next projects: film capacitors, some missing resistor values, blank uv pcbs, cables and jacks, and a lot of jst connectors.
Waiting for the delivery of the bag of potentiometers.
yeah, my memory is getting pretty badâŚ
Iâve actually been getting kinda worried⌠heh.
Too many solder fumes up the old thinker eh
Glad it arrived in one piece
BOM etc is on GitHub: github.com/sonosus
I made a mistake on the silkscreen; when you wire the jacks, make sure to connect the + header to the - jack and vice versa.
Have fun with it !
Forgot these we due, the fun of the random delivery times when choosing the budget postage, just a little under two weeks to deliver to the UK.
My first attempt at designing a Kosmo module, a quad lfo with individual and master time control, based on the simple one core vco in the lm13700 datasheet.
Someone should verify if im right, but i think tayda finally stocks these.
If im not being a dumb dumb, ill put this in the cheap components thread and wherever we saw it was a BOM.
Would you be so kind to share a schematic?
@Jos
I intend to share the project, I would like to test my build first. I did run into an issue yesterday where one of the jack socket housings clashes with the main PCB, I shall fit a panel mounted socket for this build, and update the PCB design for the next set of boards. I can of course upload the schematic as soon as I know the design works.
Oh whoops I just ordered 4 more modules from @lookmumnocomputer . What a pity.
Got a bunch of resistors from Tayda including these rather surprising 9.1k. Nothing in the listing said anything about short lead length and the datasheet showed the usual. Not that itâs necessarily a problem for anything Iâd use these for (theyâre for the stash, no particular project) butâŚ
maybe you can buy some jacks next time âfor the stashâ
If my spreadsheet isnât lying (itâs lying) I have 41 jacks in my stash now, and only 18 needed for the next several projects.
Ah yes, I also have a spreadsheet for this. I spread out my stash, then say âsheet, Iâm 1 shortââŚ
