anyone know what kind of wire is used for 1/4" cables? gonna need to find some for mono and some for stereo

Got a eurorack road case from a nice guy off Facebook. Finally have a home for my pro-1.
It also has a row of the really small modules (1u, intelligel?) so I guess I need to design some 1u utility for myself
Also, if anybody has a US supplier dual gang alpha pots, lemme know!

(I assume you mean the 9 mm vertical board mount.) I was unable to find any suppliers, US or otherwise anywhere in the world, besides Thonk.
Not that being Thonk is a bad thing. Anyway, I got mine from them. Good price and postage was not bad.

not sure if they have dual gang pots…but I know I got ALPS dual gang encoders here over the summer:

@CTorp you will need to measure that 1U row because there are 2 different standards. Pulp Logic is the original 1U and they invented that size. Intellijel has a bunch of 1U modules but theirs are slightly smaller. Just enough so that Pulp Logic and Intellijel modules are not compatible in the same 1U row. When I designed my case I had it setup for Intellijel sizing. (That’s what I’m converting your k25 modules into right now actually.) I will say that companies more often than not will choose the Pulp Logic sizing but some companies will design for both. Unfortunately, there’s no set standard.

Oh crap! i thought 1U panels were 45mm?! Turns out they’re 39.65. Ahh well its only 2.5ish mm off either side.
Im going to stick with 45mm… To lazy to redesign, plus it will fit in with my janky 130mm ‘eurorack’ size lol

@willow2x Read the reply I sent to Cory above about the 1U tiles. There’s two 1U size formats. Intellijel 1U and Pulp Logic 1U.
Intellijel is 39.65
Pulp Logic is 44.45

Ty. I re-read it and it made more sense lol. I thought it was closer to 45mm because of the doepfer A100 guide i used to get the rail dimensions from to 3d print some.
Still sticking with 45mm tho haha. Every mm counts on that row =)

One thing i miss from the beatstep pro instead of the keystep pro is the vastly superior roller ribbon. The keystep pro’s version is just poo poo.
That and 16 knobs over just 5.
Been getting to grips with it, waiting on the midi dongles to turn up as the seller forgot them…
I did get Cakewalk playing the drums and two separate synth loops ( both Cherry Voltage Modular ) which I was quite pleased at achieving.
I am wondering how I connect CV to my Behringer K2, seems to be a little discussed topic…
I have a used Akai PRO MAX49 arriving soon too which should also give me some proper keyboard sequencing including CV… Think it will compliment the BSP nicely…

That’s super nice, how much did you pay for it in total and do you need a special pre-flashed processor chip or something similar? If so, where do you get it from?
