So the fourth case will be started AND finished this week-end ?
Lucky Dud, the man who builds faster than his shadow…
… oh … wait … sorry it’s the 3rd, i thought I had already done it
without joke, i started to go around in circles without components, a little storage and I attack that !
a piece of advice for myself: don’t go too fast because afterwards I’m bored
NI Komplete Audio 6 MK2
DC Coupled too! - now figuring out how to use it lol.
Proto boards for Rolz came in too!
Ya gotta love a big knob!
Love the NI gear but they can be unforgiving with synth input levels. Do measure before you connect and buffer/attenuate when you can.
Nice interface…
I am waiting on a B…r U-PHORIA UMC1820 Audio Interface… But It’s my Son’s so he can do multichanel drum stuff…
I am still waiting on the Bouncing Ball… 100% say they have had stocking issues due to CV19
Thonk though have shipped
Rob
Finally the PCB for the octo VCO arrived. It’s this oscillator Non 3340 oscillators - #72 by jkb times eight. Hopefully it works, it’s the first run. Pretty dense!
whhaaou big one PCB, nice and hope too that’s all work fine, there is a lot of soldering in perspective !
Woah. Keep us posted whenever you get that all soldered up… next month, I assume…
Very cool, looking forward to hearing how it goes.
Superinterested! Keep us updated.
The layout of those PCB’s is art.
So this is not going to be a rack format build (unless you have a very deep rack case). What are you aiming at?
i was thinking the same thing - holy deep!
Got some package from CTorp…
I wonder what could be those 25mm wide things in the gift wrap…
Oh, thanks for the free chips, who could resist free food
or maybe a very big large module
It’s 15x15cm so it would even fit into my Kosmo setup. Maybe I will do that for now. Long term plan is to have a polysynth in a custom case. Next is going to be a VCA/ADSR board and after that a VCF in the same fashion. But as I said it’s really a long term plan.
If you make your boards all the same size, you could stack them on each other and go for a cube shaped poly synth. Which also makes it easy to come up with a name for this contraption
( e.g. QubeSynth or Qs for short) . Have you decided on a name yet?
