It’s all happening today! Some logarithmic pots from tayda and finally my AO quantiser (with dac ino but no z) thank you again Rich!
From the sound of it, you do need those belts
I got a shipping notification email on the 8th of October and been waiting since and haven’t gotten my AAAPPPCCC yet.I’m living in Toronto, but feeling this may be longer than it should normally take to arrive. Should I just chill out or follow up about it?
“normally take to arrive” used to be as quick as 8 days for me, but the new norm has been up to 6 weeks.
well that’s both reassuring and disapointing, but it’s good to think I shouldn’t have to worry anymore. The bright side is possibly arrives by the time christmas break hits and I can actually spend time building it without neglecting studies.
Power supply got deported by customs, god dammiiiiiiiiiiiitttt
It came! I’m now wondering if I was supposed to also receive components with the circuit board but I don’t remember there being anything saying that I had to buy them seperate?
You do have to buy them separately, but they are cheap. When something is listed as “panel/PCB”, that’s what it means. Otherwise, it would be a “full kit”.
This is where I purchased my nuts at.

M2.5 Square Nuts
100 for $6
Shipping is $4.
They look like the thinner ones in your image…
Ah okay. Thanks for that. I must have misinterpreted then. I’ll open it up and start listing the components!
Those are 2.5 mm, @juggle is using 3 mm. Pulp Logic does indeed seem to be the best and one of the very few places to get 2.5 mm square nuts. I use them with Vector rails.
The list of components (also known as Bill of Material or BOM) is found here.
It was like Christmas today!
I finally have a more up-to-date MIDI controller to integrate with my DAW and hardware. I am super excited about this and the fact that it has CV is exciting for me. I don’t have any other piece of equipment that has a keybed AND CV.
I also received a nice package from @analogoutput today and the guys at Bastl sent me a new panel for my Grandpa sampler module and the SPA expander kit.
Finally I received the remaining missing pots and jacks from @d42kn355 so that I can complete his Elements for him.
I was happy with my novation circuit, lemme know what you think about this thing. I’m in the market later this year.
Got my 1st order from jlcpcb in today. Not a design I made myself, no need, there are plenty of usable designs of power distribution boards like this around.
I need a picture of tumbleweed
I have a MIDI/Audio interface from ebay that’s nearing 2 weeks overdue
A Drop card from royalfail, i expect that’s my digital SillyScope . They open silly hours for collection now ( Reduced stupid hours )
I didn’t know MakeNoise were in Asheville, are they Moog alumni?
And as this is the mail thread, be careful when opening your envelopes, you almost damaged that stamp.
(I don’t collect them anymore, but some people still do, and a US stamp that’s not just a flag, that has to be of some interest, although that one seems to have been aggressively cancelled.)
“That’s not just any old US picture stamp, it’s one that was postmarked and received in late 2020. Yes, it’s one of the few DeJoy period stamps that got through.”
