The patreons got a link to something which I think is quite new called QJAM. the basics of it is it’s a mobile app that lets a que of people wait to chat to somone in a group. So you can all listen to the chats between the presenter and the guest. Theres a queue you can join if you want to chat, although the order seems a bit random of who gets to chat.
I think a few of us had technical issues, well first I did not realise it was smartphone only. and it took me three times in the queue to get connected when I was up…
There were people from all over the world, and some fun chat, you only get a couple of mins but that keeps the conversatiosn flowing…
I missed most of Hackseven and Christian B as I was trying to fix my issues. Rich from RH Electronics was also on. I am sure there were more from here too but I was struggling to keep track!

hey rob! yeah it was a very interesting experience! I think the app is in beta mode at the minute, they contacted me about giving it a go so I tried it, the developers watch each of the streams at the minute and I guess take note and figure it out. hopefully the hiccups will be sorted out!!! also at the minute yeah its only for iPad and iPhones it seems, I had neither so I had to borrow a friends iPad to use it, hopefully everything will be ironed out soon
It was cool, just thought I was being a “Social Media” newbie , had not realised at first it was bleading edge…
I tried on the laptop only to find I had no sound and that it was not going to work anyway asa it was two way video chat and i dont have a cam…
Then found my e-mail client on my phone had stoped working yesterday ( somehow it had changed to secure mail which my ISP does not support ) . then I had the two chances at the chat and hit the Go Live ( or whatever it was ) and it did not connect, third time it worked… ( That waas with android ).
Once connected it was spot on
I have an e-mail now with my stream although i have not watched it yet.
