Live music with oscilloscope connection

I was wondering what are you using as a construct to duplicate the signal to an oscilloscope while you are playing.
As we can see on the videos of @heckseven for exemple

Good question. Right now, I have the signal coming out of an out on my mixer. I picked up some of the oscilloscope connectors (BNC connectors?) and made a few cables. Sometimes, I run the signal through a buffered multiple if I want a specific signal through the scope. You could also look at building something like this:

i’ve just make this little adaptator box

i prefere to ask before filling the box with hot glue :grinning:
this “circuit” don’t need any protection at all (resistor,diodes) ? on the jacks ? for the short with gnd that made when you plug a jack ?

No, protection is not needed.
The modules can already handle that kind of short.
The oscilloscope is an input, so it will just show 0V during that short short.
