Sounds like people have had some bad luck here.
I built a DSO138mini mounted on a eurorack panel as one of the first modules in my homebrew synth. That was several years ago now and it’s still working fine. As a scope it’s pretty limited but works fine for audio frequencies. It can also be adjusted to very slow timebase settings which can be tremendously helpful for working with LFOs of various types - I found it invaluable for optimising the performance of my Triple Sloth module.
