Inspiration / what u listening to

I just watched the latest two episodes of Doctor Who. You should probably listen to the latest version of the famous theme tune.

This series of Doctor Who and (to some extent) the two preceding series have rewritten the back story in a somewhat Banksian fashion. That’s Iain Banks, late of North Queensferry, not Banksy. The latest incarnation of Doctor Who (both the person and the show) is always the best. Manic Pixie FTW!

Interact transposition? I’m just guessing, I don’t have a BSP :slightly_smiling_face:

edit:(oops that was meant to be a smiley emoji)

With several VCO ?

I don’t know if it’s that he do, (maybe Midi also ?),
but with 2 or 3 VCOs and Quantizers for harmonisation, 1 pitch CV from BSP in a multiple then in the VCOs, and you can made chords.

You have to shift the VCOs (fundamental, third and fifth for example) at the base and after the quantizer will harmonize in chords, the scale you will play note by note

Great performance, allowing for my personal antipathy to heavy timekeeping. Does he have a mix of this without the kickdrum track?

Ray Manzarek’s keyboard sound is lovely and it’s great to hear a player like Mezerg bringing the sound of The Doors to new audiences, fifty years after Jim Morrison’s voice was silenced forever.

Yeah, it’s a great recording. The single was the first record that ever motivated me to buy it, in September or October 1971, so it has a special place in my heart. In my recollection (and I listened to it a lot, but never bought the album) the UK single was the full 7-minute version, though Wikipedia says the single was a 4-minute version.
