Close your eyes while you’re listening to this and you’ll envision C3PO and Johnny 5 with kazoos.

There’s absolutely nothing unhealthy about a New Order addiction. That’s the Low Life record and my all-time favorite New Order track is on that record “This Time of Night.”

I love the Fever Ray records too from Karin. The Knife are pretty awesome live too.

You’ll need to like techno, but if you do, this is one of the best tracks ever made.

Currently on my list that I can’t stop watching / listening to…love this guy…
If you don’t want to watch it all then maybe start at 4:47 and remember it’s only him making these sounds…
If you like classic style then start from the beginning…

Friend I met last year, which seems so long ago, made a king of the hill YTP and has this song in it. I really like it. Lost contact with him, but my music brought him back so I’ve benefitted by being reminded of this bit of shoe gaze.

This video you posted was the very first video that I ever saw of Tom Thum. Then I found the video I posted from the Australian Beatbox Championship and I was blown away. How he does that record scratching is so insanely good. I don’t get it. :open_mouth: :astonished:

I got this from Armando Iannucci (aiannucci) on Twitter. In addition to being a great comic writer he is also a very good source of Spotify and YouTube links to good music.

Between 1995 and 2006 I was working as a freelance sound engineer. By far the best and most inspiring jobs were the ones for Ensemble Modern.

Are you talking about the looping that he does? Is that what you’re not into as much? Just curious.
