I saw the videos and I must say I dont see why I would bother doing this. It was fun to watch but none of the sounds were really new…
I had tried a lot before and I never managed to have a good time passing my bass through my synths, definitely not for me.

One of my favourite guitar interface is an envelope follower. A simple set-up can give you many options for layering.

True that I dont have any of this module. Can you actually get sort of a gate signal/trigger from this ? Or is it mostly giving a decay type signal? 
I need to do some reading on this.

They output an envelope; some also put out a gate and/or trigger, if not then the envelope can go into a comparator module to do that.

That’s mainly why I built an Envelope follower, but in fact I’ve never tested my modular with my guitar 
but this video brings me back to it
