General Request about BOM's as Excel (or similar) tables

Have you found a parts vendor willing/able to do that? The problem with this approach is that if you’re not specific enough they will have a ton of options (mouser has ~300 different 100k resistors, and that’s after narrowing it down to through-hole thin film) and if you’re too specific you end up in this situation. There’s no way their shipping & handling fees will cover the work needed to do this for a tiny order from a tiny customer. Also, sourcing on a build-by-build basis isn’t cost effective in itself, and only you know what you plan to build next.

If you find it too cumbersome to source components and just want to build things, I’d suggest getting DIY kits that ship with components and PCBs. There’s a lot of them in the synth world, since many manufacturers are tiny operations that can lower their own costs by selling both pre-built modules and kits, and can spread the overhead across many customers (if their kits business get too big, they’ll outsource the kitting to a 3PL supplier anyway).

Alternatively, do as @Caustic says – do the best you can with the resources we’ve collected in this forum, and ask for help if you get stuck on some specific component.
