Fart Box Builds

OMG…I am almost finished making a panel for this myself. Mine is specific to a standalone unit though. Mine is setup to use an arcade button since that’s what I bought.

anyone have a specific model of light up arcade button that is proven to work for this?
I want to potentially finalize this panel today
I havent built a fartbox due to work and laziness (being focused on designing PCB’s rather than building PCB’s lol)

Would love a datasheet link

Say, I don’t suppose you would be willing to part with the files for this? I am thinking about 3d printing an enclosure.

when its done and finished, yes, I plan to share the Gerbers.
I will also have some for Sale for those who do not wish to run the PCB’s.

TO ALL -

What should I use for the labels?
Should I design it the same as Sams? with things like SPHYNC 1 instead of SYNC 1 etc?

Or would the majority prefer Clean?

It’s a tough choice. I started out using Sam’s labeling, but quickly realized I needed “clean” labels like “cutoff” rather than “veg” and “beans” for it to be usable. But, that takes away the charm. I’d go with Sam’s names.

Well, I believe its symmetrical so I could try to get it bang on in the middle and do clean on one side and sams labels on the other side?

Could someone help with an Identifier chart - like OSC1 = fart (or whatever he has it labeled as, this is just an example)

Also there are 2 switches not labeled on the PCB near the “bottom”. What do they do?
or what is their function?

i need a damn printer lololol

Left is gate/trig, right is Vindaloo, which I believe is attack/release loop.

I think, because of the way the controls have unpredictable effects, I don’t know that labels help me all that much. I just get a feel for what each thing does the more I use it. Right now I use it for lasers.

Little bit of a problem…

The silk screening seems to have worn off. That could put a crimp on today’s build.

oh! that’s strange! yeah just a bit. can send a pic of it? did it turn up like that?

Yes, I just now took it out of the packaging.

Here are some better shots:

here we go! for context I messaged @zorch, seems a printout will be suffice! so here we go it may be useful for others! but very interesting I hadn’t seen it ware off before, makes me think did it somehow get wet in postage, or WD40 got onto it or something very strange!

ps if you click and download image it turns into a full size thing, if you print it out it will be full size on A4

So maybe there’s a do it yourself solution for those who want blank-ish panels!
