I noticed that some people are having problems getting Electric druid chips.
I just wanted to mention that the Electric Druid site also offers the code for their chips for personal use.
Never enjoyed PIC programming as I used to have to do it in Assembly which always felt like remote keyhole surgery by phone. That said with a cheap and easy to get PIC 16F1824 and their code (which also comes as a compiled Hex file) then all you need to do is program the chip which is fairly straightforward.
So if you want to build the Voltage-controlled low frequency oscillator for your own use there is a way to do it without having to buy their affordable chips.
