While searching the web for some circuit I found the Kassutronic blog. Amongst commercial items it contains some open source designs of various modules like this variable waveshape lfo e.g. At the bottom of the page there are links to other open source goodies.
Kassutronics, previously. Lots of good stuff there, at least as long as you ignore the way he does decoupling
Could you maybe explain / illustrate what you mean by that?
He’s consistently putting a single 100 nF between +12 V and −12 V, which is not really how supply rails work – they’re designed to provide current relative to ground, not relative to each other. So you always decouple to ground, not between supply rails.
(Tayda will sell you 110 caps for $1, so it’s not like you’re saving much money by doing it wrong )
Did anyone put Thomas Henry designs here yet. I scrolled through and didn’t see it. So i’ll put it here. Apologies if a repeat:

This is a crazy deep rabbit hole.
This is not so much a repository for hardware designs. The author of the site has modded quite a few (semi) analog synths. There is quite a bit of info on how to mod recent Behringer gear. Have a look at Maffez’s modding project page.
Hi, I have 2 favorites to mention here:
-
A list of old DIY Schematics for Drums:

A very new developer Marcel Licence, who created a lot of bare-modules in 2020/2021 based on ESP32 (Arduino - IDE). He created a Sampler like casio SK1, a Poly Synth, Mono Synth, Looper and a Drum Computer. He provided so many ideas to create a simple module based around a ESP32. He did not do it specially for the module world, it is up to You to imagine how Your implementation should look alike. The code he created is very good readable and You have to add Your ADC ( ADS1115) to shift it into the modular world - or simply use MIDI. https://www.youtube.com/user/marcellicence
I don’t think this has been mentioned here yet…
Oh, and also my GitHub, which I’ve been cleaning up/adding to recently. It’s mainly just Kosmo PCBs for the Electric Druid chips, but there’s a couple of original bits and bobs on there too.
A friend sent me one of these, ostensibly for my kids:

I haven’t opened it yet, but while doing a bit of searching on the net I stumbled across their github that has a lot of the hardrware:
Cheers
Rebel Technology open source modules
I made a big list with everything I could find here and there, I’ll try to keep it updated
I took already existing lists and put them together in one
I have also started to list the modules found in the list above by categories
@Plop this is great! I started to sort the entries by alphabetical order, see the PR on github
The search did not find this here yet, so I’m assuming it was not mentioned before: Tim Stinchcombe - Synth Main
The pages contain some mods of known euro rack modules as well.
