DIP Switches vs Toggle Switches - Wiring Question

So I am working on that Schele Video Mixer and I am wondering about the DIP Switches on the board.

I do not really know much about DIP Switches, and have never actually ran into one on anything that I have built yet.

My question is, can a set of 3 SPST Toggle Switches be wired to function the same as a 3 Position DIP Switch?

Yeah, DIP switches are just a bunch of small SPST switches in a package.
Note that your drawing shows three SPDT switches but that also works, if connected like shown.

yeah, i was too lazy to right click and change the component variant LOL

Mounting 3 switches on a panel would be far easier than a dipswitch… lol

A multi pole rotary switch with a variety of capacitors corresponding to the various possible combinations could also make a cleaner front panel and may also be more usable.
