This is a pretty specific question so bear with me. I just received parts for a stripboard build of the performance VCO (AS3340). I noticed that the rotary switch that I purchased does not have a common terminal (unlike Sam’s) throwing me for a little bit of a loop. I’ve done some research to see if there is a work around without much luck. I might need to purchase a new rotary switch but was hoping someone might have a blessed answer to my problem
The switch you have purchased there connects two adjacent poles together, rather than allowing you to select which to connect to a common pole. Because of this your probably going to have to buy a new switch.
It might be a pain, but it’ll be far easier in the long run to get one that just works the way you intend.
