Rotary Switch VCO Help

This is a pretty specific question so bear with me. I just received parts for a stripboard build of the performance VCO (AS3340). I noticed that the rotary switch that I purchased does not have a common terminal (unlike Sam’s) throwing me for a little bit of a loop. I’ve done some research to see if there is a work around without much luck. I might need to purchase a new rotary switch but was hoping someone might have a blessed answer to my problem

Let me know if you need further information and thanks in advance!

The switch you have purchased there connects two adjacent poles together, rather than allowing you to select which to connect to a common pole. Because of this your probably going to have to buy a new switch.

It might be a pain, but it’ll be far easier in the long run to get one that just works the way you intend.

Thank you @JonGreen !

Does anyone happen have a recommendation for a solid rotary switch (USA based)?

(This should probably be in the component search thread, but I thought it pertinent to the discussion.)
