So I’m making this thread because I have a lot of crazy questions and I’m sure everyone else does too. Hopefully, a collaborative contained effort will reduce the amount of “one question, one answer” threads.
I’ll start: What kind of usefulness do pipe organ pipes have? Can they work as percussive instruments or are they strictly for “pipe-organning”?

dam that really rubs it in , I had the chance to get the whole room full of pipes but didn’t have the place to store them so I passed . but yeah you could put speakers at the end and have a tuned tone at the other end , the wood boxes could make a percussion instrument , and add peizo pick ups etc. there are wood and tin pipes .
Yeah, someone’s giving away a pipe organ in my area, but I also do not have the space. I doubt it, but I wonder if they would part with a few pieces >:)
