Planning some odd research for the summer and it would help if I could 3d print some solderless breadboard like parts. I’ve seen a couple of attempts online but I’m hitting a wall in regard to sourcing the metal clips used for common rows.
Does anyone know a source or manufacturer I could approach? I’d try making my own but it’ll be a faff and make a lot of waste.
One maker I found went to great lengths describing how to rip apart a working breadboard for the clips which he used… to make his own working breadboard. (Which to me is total fekwittery, but hey ho)
Any and all info gratefully received.
Cheers!
There’s nothing like a poor quality breadboard to put you off the entire hobby. Not only would I suggest abandoning this idea, I suggest spending extra for a high quality breadboard and wires

Thanks. Not looking to make my own breadboards.
Looking at a project where I’d like to make ‘breadboard like’ interactive feature. I could use Dupont but I like the breadboard format.
I have a large, quality breadboard stash of shame (some prototypes are too precious to dissasemble, sad I know)
Just looking for a hook up to whoever makes those lovely clips and save me reinventing the wheel.
Cheers!
