Hey guys found this cheap chinese MP3 player when I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the Sparkfun Wav trigger for a project I’m working on, has anyone tried it?
JQ6500 is a MP3 chip that provides serial port, which perfectly integrates the hard decode of MP3 and WMV. In addition, the chip is also a deeply customized product, specially developed for fixed voice playback area of low-cost solutions.

when I looked for the Looper / sampler isd1820 (Lo-fi)
So I was wondering, if this could be used as a very cheap wavtrigger… Has anyone used that module? Maybe also interesting for circuit bending stuff.
