I had to swap some resistors to dial in the self oscillation: #2700 twin t drums - #152 by VKTx
Looks like R2,17,32,47 (lower values)
I think I just used a wire instead of a resistor for 47.

Thanks, I missed your previous message you linked to! I will experiment with lowering some of those resistor values that are in the path of the Kick and LBongo, as those are the parts where I am experiencing unwanted oscillation.
I’m about to build one of these, so I’d love to hear back on your results and values if you have time.
Baws.
I just completed my build and get sounds from everything except the noise, and no noise on the snare either. On top of that, I am getting a lot of hum at the mix output (but not the individual outs).
I used B331 versions of the 2N3904, and the H331 seems to be much harder to find. I will need to dig about and see if I can get my hands on some.
Just use a 6V8 (or less) Zener diode instead, anode connected to ground.
Did some troubleshooting and discovered that if I sent 10v triggers/gates instead of 5v from the Oxi One, I started getting a much better volume from each of the individual sounds, and the noise was then present. Dialling down the trim pot further than I expected also removed the noise from the mix output.
The range of decay for each sound is pretty minimal, and it would be good to be able to trigger it from 5v, but I am getting cool sounds now - and the kick in particular sounds awesome through the Safety Valve.
On to the next one…
I threw together a few bodges up above to turn an incoming 5v gate into a 10v pulse if you’re comfortable making a few modifications.
I might investigate that, thank you!
