I made a thing that connects my Kosmo and Eurorack cases/setups:
I use one of these DB 25 cables to connect:
And some 26 pin ribbon cable inside the cases:
But, yeah, patches get complicated pretty quickly:

Christian Bloch,
I just wanted to stare at the pics even thought I have no Eurorack. You’re bringing all the nations together!

It all looks so incredible, I am still at the very beginning and am still waiting for the AS3340 for my first VCO and the PSU from Frequency Central, at the moment it is totally surreal to have so much stuff in the future.
I guess you can go go around the globe several times with this cables : D
Looks great, nicely implementated!
Mine is a bit more modest … It supports single channel to single channel and dual channel to 2 single channels (and v.v.).
Yeah, it was inspired by the Doepfer Multicore, that uses two Ethernet cables, as well as the plug converter-style modules. I did consider building some multiple functionality in, but decided to keep it simple (if chaotic).
I like Doepfer’s idea of using RJ45 patch cables for transmission. They’re widely available and inexpensive.
I actually started down that road, but decided I wanted more connections. The newer standards for network cables have individually shielded wires, so they’re better for audio signal integrity. In practice, my solution is working just fine and if I were to get some cross talk due to the ribbon cable part of the equation, I could just switch the signals in question to jacks that are further apart. For CV, the interference really doesn’t matter.
wow!!! nice red cables too!!!
