The voltage does change but it will not increase passed ~1.4V, so I assume this could be off by an order of magnitude. The trim pot keeps spinning, but after a certain point the voltage value stops increasing/decreasing.
What voltages do you have on the potentiometer pins (relative to ground)?
I will have to check when I get home from work tonight. Also, I am plugging directly into a solid state amp/speaker combo, and the output is really low. Any tips on how to increase the volume? I have played analog synths since I was a teenager, but this is my first time building a diy modular, so there is a lot that I donāt know yet, regardless how much I read.
The VCO output signals are pretty hot, as audio signals go (see this thread), so this points to more weirdness with your build (or I guess your amp could be weird, but thatās less likely).
Thanks for the help, I think I ordered the wrong voltage regulator off of tayda, when doing my first order. There was so much stuff, I must have ordered the wrong one. Iāll get some of the right ones in and let you all know how it goes.
Now to find out why my output is so lowā¦
looking really good!!! nice
the knobs look good too. never tried those types but they really work! do you have a link for these knobs?? any chance I can include this pic and the link to the knobs you use on the site? obviously mention you./
I use that type whenever I can too, but the main issue is that they rarely come in Ā¼ā size. If youāve got 6mm pots, though, they come in at least five sizes for very cheap from Amazon.
I like that style of knob too, considerably more than the skirted knobs LMNC uses. They come in five sizes, MF-A01 through MF-A05. And in fact I have some on order, a few from each of five AliExpress vendors ā even cheaper than Amazon, with the usual AliExpress caveats. Iāll see which vendor comes through best and then maybe get a bunch more from them.
(All the ones I ordered are 6 mm, I found only a few 6.35 mm ones on AliExpress.)
And yes they are available in lots of 100 in case certain people need LOTS of knobs! https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000281090042.html

I ordered a few different styles I think these matched your panel art the best. They have a bigger 33mm for the performance filter cutoff as well. For the lfo I also used some smaller ones of a different style but still looks good
Right, Tayda does have 6.35 mm MF-A01, MF-A03, and MF-A04 as well as 6 mm MF-A04.
Has anyone else run into TL072s that donāt have semi circle markers on them? Iām not sure which way these should go in.
The circle is pin 1, so the left side is where the semicircle would have been.
Then all thatās left is to program the arduino, and weāre off to the racesā¦
I got distracted half way through calibrating and stated playing, this is already my favorite VCO. I was really glad to see that the PWM is wide enough that the signal can go inaudible. I like using that in place of a VCA for making percussive sounds.
Does anyone know what the product number is at Mouser for the right IC sockets to fit the Nanoās? I cannot get the Nano into the sockets that I bought
The ones I bought were these: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/437-1108763241001151
They are 32 pin even though the picture doesnāt show a 32 pin socket.
I have found on mouser the pic sdoean always match up. everything else seems to do so on that listingQ!
I have found that too on Mouser and Tayda. Really frustrating. These are the ICās that I bought and have soldered in. Unfortunately, I cannot get the Nano into this socket. So Iām not sure which socket on Mouser to get. I canāt seem to find one thatās the other ladder style that is 32 pin. I canāt imagine that they wouldnāt have it.
If I canāt find one can I just take two 16 pin ladder style sockets and put them together to make a 32pin socket?
