I picked up this large and heavy piece of gear on a fleamarket. took the chance for 50 euro bucks. not sure if it is (fully) working yet but there is light and no smoke. maybe there is still some spirit in it…
i found a manual (german) but if one of you has personal experience i’d appreciate someone to poke with questions

Yep, free pianos, pretty much every day.
I even saw player pianos a couple of times, unfortunately I don’t have any room left to put them.
The last spot of storage in my garage was taken by a free Hammond organ, a B100, or 110 or something, with a real Leslie speaker cabinet. Never got around to fixing it beyond replacing a couple of broken keys.

From the same flea market I go almost every saturday. 20 credits. I removed a piece of metal that was floating inside the case. It is working. I can’t praise vintage tec enough it is sturdy and serviceable… how could we ever let go of these features
The hype of the digital revolution created a narative that these things are bad because they really dont sound like real drums, a fact that few can despute. The magic is not in their ability to sound like real drums, but as a new instrument with unique characteristics of their own.
It is unfortunate that some see it that way but hey you got a great bargain so their loss!
