Vintage measurement devices

I thought I start a thread with vintage measurement devices since I love them and save them occasionally from being trashed in our institute.

I start with a classic one: a 2-channel Rohde und Schwarz Storage Oscilliscope Type 564B. Channel 1 is gone and Channel 2 has sometimes a few glitches with its preamplifier but everything else is seemingly working fine. I hooked up an arbitrary signal with a period of 1.9MHz and I got a nice, clear picture

I remember how disturbing digital scopes seemed when I first saw them, because they weren’t a foot and a half deep. It looked like someone had sawed a scope in two and thrown away the back.

Love my Rigol, though.
