I searched and found this. The message seems to be associated with low signal levels. Check battery, disable warning messages, set output volume on computer to maximum.
I had the same problems, especially with the PAJEN firmware, try lowering the volume to 40-65%. At some point it will work. If the output volume is too loud, the Volca often complains

ok I’ve tried all the volume levels one by one but none of them work… 
did you change the output volume of your volca?
I have seen a video in which a guy shows that changing the output volume of his volca sample can work but I don’t see how it can change anything to the problem.

No, I haven’t heard anything about it so far, it has nothing to do with the output of the Volca, but with the input. Have you ever tried to transfer the firmware from your cell phone? And what I just remembered, I read that it took Volca to update to the latest original firmware beforehand, but at least I think 1.3.
