Totally unrelated , but still trying to work out Sams mini ramp

I am still intrigued by Sam @lookmumnocomputer mini service ramp. But i needed something to do various work on various cars. So bought a set of seesaw display ramps for £300 . Got my mx5 on them ( little scary ) to clean uf surface rust on subframes. Found a poorly previous sill patch, so had to admit my 20 year old Mig welder was rubbish so bought a new one, that’s my end of year bonus now blown…

The Mazda is being prepped for sale, ( its summer and ideal sellibg time)

This is my new daily , it needs ramp time to look at a gearbox issue :frowning:

There’s a line of things I need to do car wise, so with the good weather, my energy needs to focus on them… May delay some synth stuff…

PS. Bought another Yamaha CS2x…

Looks like the ramps could easily fall to the side. Is there nothing interconnecting them to make the whole thing more sturdy (I can’t see it in the pictures)?

if you look in the picture where the triangle reaches the ground, you will see outriggers going out makes it stable under normal use.

These are used a lot by car dealers to display cars.
