Not really, but i look on others schematics and it seems to work also with a TIP122 and TIP121, i don’t know if you think that’s less specific one :slight_smile:

Power darlingtons are common, and pretty much any of them would work here. TIP120 etc looks like a good alterative (and the BD679 isn’t hard to get either, $0.40/ea on mouser). Just make sure it can handle the motor current.

just dug up this old bell & howell cassette player pulled from a home organ it has a tempo knob already which is handy , just have to work out the power / sound hook ups as it has molex connectors for the organ hook up. and the mini pops junior is cleaning up nicely still not as mint as the ones going for big bucks .
