Sourcing LMNC Module Boads

I’m trying to track down some LMNC boards that seem to have disappeared from the shop or are no longer listed for sale. I bought and built a few modules a couple of months ago, but when I went back to order more, a lot of the boards I was interested in were either out of stock or completely gone from the store. From what I’ve seen on the LMNC forums, certain boards have disappeared and reappeared over time depending on stock levels, but it’s hard to tell whether some designs have been discontinued or are just temporarily unavailable. I’m planning a trip to This Museum Is (Not) Obsoleteto see if there’s any information there, but I’d like to do some digging online first in case there are archived listings, community discussions, or alternative sources for the PCBs.

You are correct. The state of e.g. the #4710 safety vlave is undefined.

If I were talking to the creator at the museum i’d nicely ask if he would consider releasing the gerbers for legacy modules (on patreon). So we could take matters into our own hands.

It is probably a hassle and a financial risk to keep the shop fully populated. I don’t know if there is a solution that would make everyone happy.

Gerber files would definitely be worth a patreon upgrade for me.

I think I got the last safety valve they had at the museum. Didn’t even come with a panel.

Perhaps wecould ask for a “notify me when back in stock” option at the shop? If anything, the number of requests will give Sam an indication of how much interest per item there is in order to do a new run of PCBs and stock up accordingly.

shopify sort of does this already. that’s how i learned about the new run of AAAPPPCCC and Circledrone boards.

I sort of wish someone there would just put together preorder group buys for old designs - although what I’d REALLY love is for them to become open source so the community could update/upgrade them. Some of the schematics really do need a good once-over.
