I wanted to try that with a motor drone ive had sitting around. See if i could spin a reflective surface, blacking out some to make different wave shapes. Have the LED reflecting off the disc with a couple LDRs under each spinning track, blocking any light from the sides. Then link it up with the motors voltage control.
