The APC is a wonderful circuit to play with.
I particularly like the design of the case, is that two boards bolted into a frame?
Post more if you have them or build anything else.

if they are two pieces of wood with screws. one of them I built “legally” that is using the original scheme that I found on the internet and the other I made a small mod using LDR

Forrest Mims’s original “stepped-tone generator” used 500k pots, not 1M, but pretty sure his case wasn’t as cool as yours 
(also he says it’s ok to swap out components so you’re good)
