My build progress

A fine up bringing, shows that still make me laugh even when i know the lines that are about to be said.

I’m sticking to my mini module form factor, but after having to redo part of Bass++ design because I forgot a couple of decoupling caps I decided to take a step back and do something a bit simpler.

(not sure what’s up with the angles, I think my phone decided to weird things up a bit and I’m too lazy to go find a better camera).

It’s my contrarian streak, with so many other people doing black.

My build progress today is an item long on my list but never got round to.
I have some old Yamaha kit which unlike all my other 9v guitar and fx are centre positive. Behold! A polarity switcher with battery and plug socket input. Humbled by my ingenuity I will retire for the day!
(Well it’s progress for me!)

I nearly sold a Korg as DUD as i did not check the polarity ( strangely something I usually do )… It did sell for peanuts but the buyer never paid. and fortunately I realised.

Actually travelling up to Bathgate tomorrow for work… looking forward to a fairly isolated trip out…

Had to rebuild 1 and hunt down odd fuses for many. When playing i was not the ā€˜one careful owner’ type. If you can’t fix it you don’t really own it do you?

yep, i broke it, I fixed it… after 6 months of ownership… and even though it was not financialy sound (perhaps at the time)… we are still together 5 years later… although she’s having a rest as i have a bit of a car habit. Actually CV19 has ballsed up all my plans for reducing my fleet and getting my love back on the road…

Needs some wires, but otherwise done. Quite happy with the electronics on the outside.

There’s a Lloyds Building vibe to that one.

Leave it to @fredrik to make an APC look classy and refined!

IKR? I’ve resisted investing in a 3D printer this long but he’s making it harder and harder to justify (assuming he’s willing to share his designs.)
