I built a desktop guitar pedal that required a key once! Went for a very military look and feel
Very cool ! have you some sound of it ?
I wish I did! This was actually a birthday gift for a friend so I sadly gave it away
Depending, of course, on your brand of ketchup
Awww yeah. Got one of these recently and have been dying to try out the modal libraries. Will let you know when I try it out. Havenāt even plugged it in yet ha.
Been fascinated by this VCO. Itās got so many features, Iām really interested to see how the analog TZPM differs from the TZFM. Not sure that Iāve ever seen analog phase modulation before this VCO.
Whats it do? whats a Young Priest, how old do I have to be to qualify as an old priest?
Well, I might as wellā¦
Calling it āXORCISTā - a VCO/Drone/XOR/Distortion/Ringmod thing. Two internal 40106s square waves, young priest and old priest, with a (non-v/oct) pitch input into a 4070 XOR, but then two switches and two external inputs so you can either use the internal drone or external sounds.
Getting to name stuff is a rare and proud day xor not.
I look forward to hearing it in action.
Um, think Iāve been designing the same moduleā¦

The thing I was working on that was alarmingly similar to your description, I decided a week or two ago not to pursue further ā itād deviated too far from my original concept. I took some of the core ideas and pushed them in a different direction instead. Which I may or may not pursue further. If I do itāll still have some things in common with yours but different enough that both could coexist in the same case without getting into fights.
Looking forward to the companion module ā&ROMEDAā
OMG you built those SO FAST!! I was going to message you when you initially started this and offer to help you build some of the modules, but clearly I do not think that you need my assistance at all. LOL If that changes and you want help let me know
That thing is awesome! BTW my birthday was in May
Honestly, itās all about finding efficiencies and having the factory do as much as possible before I even start. For the filter, I got it down to just the panel components. That means I can do a module in about 10 minutes, so thatās about 17 hours of build time for a batch of 100. Add a little for packaging, and it doesnāt really add up to more than 20 hours of pure building and packaging. Now, I do also have a full time job, so itās not like I just bang them all out in three days, and Iām also building another batch of the oscillator at the same time. But for now I can manage.
Built @analogoutputās op amp tester:
Hmm, fancy footwork to put a box header on a terminal block footprint!
Why the jumper in place of R2? Iām trying to figure out how it can even work that way.
