Yes with a bit of planning you can fit 2 in a 5cm panel.
I added dual outputs and a link from input one to input two. So you can trigger both from the same signal unless you plug something into input 2
My issue with this circuit it it’s impossible to use in trigger mode with long attack times and release is too short and it’s max value (to my taste) And it’s output voltage doesn’t seem to be high enough to open my lmnc quad vcas completely.
working on the MFOS reverb driver , sadly one of Ray’s last designs so there are some discrepancies between the pcb’s and the build docs I think he never got the chance to refine . but if you are buying / building there is some documentation here https://www.soundtronics.co.uk/mfos-vc-reverb-module-bare-pcb.html on the changes needed .the boards are also available here for purchase in the UK . you can get Rays boards at https://synthcube.com/cart/music-from-outer-space in the states
No. Three orders over two years (+ one lost somewhere… still waiting for it to be delivered or refunded).
Had to pay taxes once, so they got “checked” by customs. But obviously they don’t make a chemical analysis for a few PCBs…
Especially since they should be destroyed if not conform to the legislation, instead of bringing in taxes if they don’t check for that
just finished these two cv spreaders from http://www.bartonmusicalcircuits.com/ the the face plates are a bit hackish but I was in just git it done mode , probably revisit later for a dress up .
and finished up my second mikrokosmo . this one I screwed an aluminum bracket to figured I could attach different things to it for sound making . not sure if I have shown it yet but next to it is BMC midi to trig./ gate .
yeah I tend to hoard project parts and never know when to start.
Now I just check which one I have all the parts for and assemble it all the way.
I found a local shop that can cut raw 2mm aluminium panels for litterally less than one euro each, after drilling I just use black spay paint.
For lettering I use Gedeo silver foil leaves, they have a special mixtion glue that you can apply with a brush to draw anything you like and the silver will stick to it, super easy.
Also one thing I try to do in every module is to use switching jacks.
Starting next week I will run wires between the modules to make a basic semi-fixed patch.
That way it’s ready to go with no cables and I can switch things easily.
I have had the AI Synthesis tape delay module for something like eight months and I acquired the required Marantz PMD-221 tape deck almost as long ago.
For some reason, I waited until today to find a 5V wall wart and solder two wires for the speed mod. It sounds much better than I had anticipated. Quick demo:
