OK, some of our own stuff from the mid 90ies. The song was meant to be a cover version of “Suicide - Ghost Rider” at first but it turned into something else
it’s the PA mix, The synths are those i posted in the current build thread plus a roland 760. And we had a CR-78 back then (very obviously)

got on with the MS-10 and SE-02 today:

figured it would be fun to reverse their usual roles in my setup. I usually have the SE-02 as the bass and MS-10 as the lead. sorry about the noise - looks like the drumbrute impact is the culprit - will isolate soon. as always, feedback welcome.

More dub techno. Featuring Mimeophon, Plaits, Clouds, Chord Organ, and Ensoniq ESQ-1:

I think the Mimeo goes beyond being an effect here and qualifies as an instrument in its own right. The ESQ-1 is still magic. I Still remember that era when suddenly a “digital” synth wasn’t a default-rock DX7 And you could Make sounds that sounded like instruments Other than bells.

The pizzicato plucks remind me of the lead-in to Arcadia’s “The Promise.” It’s got a great Italy-disco energy folded in with its house sensibility.

Tense! It does make me sad to realize how much of the (admittedly very little) German language I learned in college that I’ve lost. I love the Radioland Rez-pad, and that’s an energetic use of the 78-is the reason you had to call out that you “used to” have it that it melted?

Like many at that time, my friend sold it off to buy other (more modern) stuff. He had such gems! An Arp Odyssey and a Jupiter 8 :sob:
The lyrics for the songs are all on soundcloud but the’re very metaphorical and very weird.
I remember we hardly rehearsed that one and were nervous about it, but all worked out well on stage that night.

This track was written using Ableton and Logic Audio.
Sound sources: Ableton’s Punch and Dirty Lead, Kurzweil K2000 (Strings), Wavestation Ex (pads), Quasimidi Sirius (drums), some drum samples

That’s a very “Sunday morning” opening but it quickly turns into “wait is this going to be a New England horror movie?” Kind of feel. The drums make it a little more Woodstocky though.

Thnx. It never stops surprising me what people hear in my music.

One of the songs going on my new album " The Death of Liberty "

It seems that you have not cut some sample correctly, or it the music meant to slightly hick up at 1m22, 1m29 and 1m36 ?

Good eye (or ear i should say). I was used surem to make the synth sound and i recorded the pattern because i ran into cpu issies in the track. So the pattern i dragged in fl must be offset somewhere

Wow… This sounds really good. Never had the intention of buying a module… But almost everything I really enjoy listening to involves clouds. (although I agree with above, that mimeophon is stealing the show here)

That being said. Credit to you, not the modules. Great track. Never been into techno, but recently it’s been changing. Love the sounds you’re making.

Beautiful. It’s got this calm epicness to it. Love the progression of the theme… Feels so fluid. Nice textures too. 10 minutes was a bit daunting, but you got my attention.

Some of the sounds seem to be somewhat grainy, like they are bit crushed or something similar. What are you doing that with?
